Originally it was planned as an 8 book series, and I wish they had stuck to that. Trying to make my way through book 9 right now, and its tough to get motivated. Only reason I'm still going is due to the 12th and final book being released.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-11528523327155541192008-12-18T10:12:00.000-05:002008-12-18T10:12:00.000-05:00Ha! Innovation is considered too risky and from what I have experienced in the past year, the game plan is simply "make it like WOW".

EVE is the only MMO that I would even consider playing and thanks to the crooks that run the game, I will never pick up a copy.

Where are the innovators? The guys in their garage who are thinking up the next great game that will change the way MMOs are played forever?Jack Barrierhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03532290603663809763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-86674779216370575482008-12-17T13:11:00.000-05:002008-12-17T13:11:00.000-05:00Hi,I like your blog, do you want to trade links? s...Hi,

I like your blog, do you want to trade links? send me email.

Kind RegardsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-61993607173312964172008-12-16T17:19:00.000-05:002008-12-16T17:19:00.000-05:00It's a pretty good series. You can tell Robert Jordan slowed the pace of the story after wards so he could spread the finale across several more books. Its still worth reading through all of them at least once though.Relmsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10358853054116842043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-66212412089839277212008-12-15T20:11:00.000-05:002008-12-15T20:11:00.000-05:00Oh Relmstein, let me tell you a story...Basically,...Oh Relmstein, let me tell you a story...

Basically, I read books 3 and 7 in high school, because both were in our school library. I remember very little about either book :P

Then I grabbed the first three in the series and took my time to get through them. Then I read New Spring. Then I took about a two year or so break from the series.

Then RJ passed away and I felt kind of sad the last book wouldn't be penned by him. Then they announced Brandon Sanderson was finishing the 12th and final book. I grabbed Sanderson's Elantris and liked it. So now I'm curious as to how the whole thing will play out and feel I owe it to RJ to finish the series.

Overall, I like the characters (particularly Mat and Lan). I think the books are a bit long winded at times, but that detail is fun to get when you like to immerse yourself into it.

I wouldn't say the books are page turners, in a good way though, like how a history book isn't a page turner, but the content is pure gold for those interested.

I guess I would say that: The WoT is like reading a history book. You sort of know where you are going, there is a lot of detail along the way, but you are curious none the less and it all makes for a good read.heartlessgamerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02809717223567961650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-88500425137850418362008-12-15T16:24:00.000-05:002008-12-15T16:24:00.000-05:00I have to aggree, it seems too early to be releasi...I have to aggree, it seems too early to be releasing gameplay trailers at this point in time.

I see you're reading the Wheel of Time series, how are you liking it so far, Heartless?Relmsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10358853054116842043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13266751.post-44828253477662783492008-12-15T09:39:00.000-05:002008-12-15T09:39:00.000-05:00Agreed.
